So you’re ready to roll? Awesome! Let’s get started then… When starting out the very first thing you need to do is quite simple – you’ll need to create a ThemeForest account.
Let me show you exactly what details you’ll sign up with as well as a quick tip that will help you with all your future ThemeForest and other Envato marketplaces interactions.
Creating Your Account
Creating a ThemeForest account is SUPER EASY! One thing you may not know, is by signing up with this marketplace you actually become registered to all the other marketplaces that the Envato community has – I’ll list these for you later on.
As you can see you’ll just need to add in the above information, once you do this just click on the “Create Your Account” button and you’ll be good to go.
Quick Tip: When you are choosing your Username think carefully about what you would like to have here – in my opinion this is probably one of the most important parts of the sign up process. I say this because this will ultimately become your brand. Think about how you would like to be known within the community, once you know this then you will be sure that you made a great selection.
The “Other” Marketplaces
The Envato community is huge. As I mentioned earlier, once you create your account on ThemeForest, you also gain access to the following marketplaces below:
The great thing about having access to all these other marketplaces is that if you have expertise in other areas such as motion graphics, photography, graphic design or just have a passion to teach others what you know, you’ll definitely be able to leverage these and create an item or a tutorial of your own – the sky is truly the limit, and selling on ThemeForest is awesome!
So what’s next after you register? In Part Two of this post I’ll share with you what options are available to you once you have created your account and are ready to get rolling!
The variety of resources and possibilities you will have available are fantastic and I can’t wait for you to see it for yourself.
Make sure to come back and check out that post in the next week or so, until then.
